The facility, known as Paris 2, will be built next to the existing Global Switch facility and will total 182,988 sq ft over six floors.
The two sites create a campus with more than 538,200 sq ft. Paris 2 is due to become fully operational in 2011.
Global Switch executive chairman John Corcoran said: “We are working closely with a number of other existing and prospective customers and expect to be in a position to announce further news of new facilities and contracts in Europe and Asia Pacific in the near future.”
Global Switch is owned by David and Simon Reuben.
