4 July 2013 – Racing Post

ARENA RACING COMPANY, the largest racecourse operator in the UK, on Thursday committed to having big screens at all of the group’s race meetings by the end of 2013.

Racing at Arc’s 15 tracks, that include Doncaster and Lingfield, account for 40 per cent of the overall fixture list and the purchase of four additional big screens as part of the group’s “continued drive towards improving the customer experience” means big screens will soon be a regular fixture at all of the group’s race meetings.

Tony Kelly, Arc managing director, said: “This is an investment of over £1 million across the group and it is all part of our desire to increase the enjoyment of racegoers and provide them with good viewing opportunities at all of our racecourses.”

As part of its daily racecourse reports coverage, the Racing Post highlights courses which fail to provide a big screen at fixtures
