Reuben Brothers purchased the loans secured over three iconic global luxury hotels in June 2015. The financing was for; the Grosvenor House Hotel, London, featuring 494 keys, meeting spaces for over 6,000 people including the famous Great Room, The Bourbon Bar & Corrigan’s Mayfair restaurant; the 20-story Plaza Hotel in Midtown Manhattan, featuring 282 keys and 152 private condominium apartments; the Dream Downtown in the Meatpacking New York district featuring 315 keys, the Bodega Negra restaurant & the PH-D Rooftop Lounge.  The debt was repaid in July 2017.

Reuben Brothers own a portfolio of boutique hotels, mostly located across the South East of England. These assets include an 18 hole golf course at their Lingfield Park Marriott Hotel & Country Club.

Europe Owned

In November 2017, RB acquired the Hotel Nevai in Swizerland.   The hotel has 35 existing keys which will be increased to 40, a spa & wellness center, 2 F&B areas, and hosts the Number 1 night club, Le Farm Club, in Verbier.  The hotel will now be operated in partnership with boutique hospitality group Experimental. The site is only 1 minute from the resort center and a 5 minute drive to the ski lifts.  Verbier is one of the most exclusive Alpine ski resort located in South-West Switzerland close to the French and Italian borders.

A month later, a 15th century palazzo in the heart of Venice, just a stone throw away from St Mark’s Square, was purchased.   The building has tall ceilings that allow for airy bedrooms and a unique design.  The site is expected to receive planning potential for a 4 star hotel boasting 33 keys with high ceilings, 70-cover restaurant, 40-cover terrace & 30-cover cocktail bar.  The construction project is anticipated to take 18 months and like in Verbier, the Hotel Adriatica will then be operated in partnership Experimental.
