The Piccadilly Estate

Plans have been approved to convert Cambridge House at 94 Piccadilly in London’s Mayfair into a grand home. Formerly in use as the Naval & Military Club, (aka “The In & Out Club”) the landmark Grade 1 listed building will be transformed into a residence which will extend over 5,000m², and will house the original 18th Century grand staircase, a 19th Century ballroom, formal receiving rooms and a vast wine cellar. The master suite will extend to 200m² and there will also be a swimming pool, spa, gym, and a garage. Two further related planning applications have also been approved. On the western corner of the site, the 1182m² Grade II listed former American Club will also to be converted back to its original use as a stately home. On the eastern flank the Grade II Listed Green Park Chambers at 90-93 Piccadilly, will be combined with 42 Half Moon Street to provide 6 large lateral apartments, plus retail & restaurant space. The properties were acquired by the Reuben Brothers in 2011, having sat empty and on the Heritage and Risk register since 1999.

The site near the Tate gallery has approval for a mixed office & retail scheme, for a c.110,000 sq ft scheme.

 

Tintagel House, SE1

The site, just under 1 acre, sits along Albert Embankment next to the River Thames.
Tintagel House is a former office block, positioned near MI6 Headquarters & directly opposite the Tate Britain Gallery.  A series of development schemes is under consideration.

225 City Road, EC1

The 1 acre site bordering Islington & the Barbican Centre is under discussion with various stakeholders for a range of development schemes.

Newcastle City Centre

Plans for a major new retail-led mixed use development of our freehold 3- acre c. 1,000,000 sq ft block, within the heart of Newcastle City Centre continue to be progressed. The site includes Commercial Union House on Pilgrim Street, and the popular Tyneside Cinema, which is undergoing development to usher in a new concept in film viewing across the North East.

Albert Embankment

Reuben Brothers created plans for a mixed-use residential, apart-hotel & leisure development in excess of 340,000 sq ft gross led by Norman Foster’s Foster and Partners in a prime Thames-side location. The site has now been sold to Berkley Homes.

185 Park Street

Reuben Brothers put together plans on a site adjacent to the Tate Modern for a mixed-use office and residential scheme of over 358,000 sq ft, including c. 125,000 sq ft 24-storey residential tower and c. 210,000 of commercial space. The site was sold to Delancey in September 2013.

Cape Vantage, Gibraltar

Cape Vantage, Gibraltar is a proposed development of approximately 6,000,000 (6 million) sq. ft of mixed use space to include apartments, a hotel, a large marina and retail areas. The site was sold in September 2013.
