• The Reuben Foundation, formed in October 2002, is a UK-registered charity that has been created to channel the charitable giving of the Reuben Brothers.
  
• As with many such organisations, the Reuben Foundation was given a significant initial endowment - in this case $100 million donated in 2002 - which produces an investment income to be donated to charitable causes.
  
• The main areas where donations will be made are education and healthcare.
  
• Grants will be made by invitation only.
